Jakarta oh Jakarta -

It was my first day on Jakarta. Concrete city and full of though life, people said.
Anyway, begin to call up left over friends there- tryin to meet up somewhere.

Finally, met up with Ranin (yellow T-shirt); my high school friend- whom finally find her soul in Jakarta then move in, Julia (white shirt)- still single ‘til now and tune in into her work, Dessy (green one)- found her interest in teaching kids English skills.

Dinner, dinner- we met up plus filling empty stomach. Kung Pao chicken as part of the dishes. Quite good- we ordered small packaging for 4 pax, turns out great!

Next trip, went to Mangga Dua ITC, where wholesales places are. Of course, can still do retail too- hmm… cheapest place to be, as long you master ‘bargain skill’. Whuahhahaa…. Got some dvd’s for 0,5 cents and some cheap t-shirt and a funky vest.
The rest just walking around, and drinking guava orange juice.

Some places I stop by, like this one- a long street at Senayan, where people selling plants and their related stuff. Brought back some pottery with minimalist design and some soil to put inside of it. Gonna growth some plants, pal!
Place quite greenish since they got lots of plants surround- but this place ain’t cheap ya ..

On way back, passed – used to be – my favourite mall, Taman Anggrek Mall / MTA. Background with their apartment and shopping center on below, ‘til 5th floor?! Shown on the right side is the ‘jalan layang’ .. always traffic jam.

This overload cuttie lives next door with my brother’s dorm. It’s name Lala- likes to walk & sniff around house, ahhahaa…

Sampoerna Museum

located on surabaya, kinda bit far from city- well, since i'm new in town so it seems bit far ...
funny and cute museum, even the place is quite small.
but gots lots of things to shown up there.
it's the same place, where they produce their cigarette plus they got their own cafe, too.

like beside, it's shown what Indonesia's used to have- small stall that sells groceries and also cigarettes. Really cute is it? Just that when its out on the street, its been contaminated with dust & other pollution, so it wont be so nice as this one.

and this one is the machine, to produce cover or box of cigarettes itself. They also show many cover design based on the period of times. Interesting!
you can imagine how they produce, need sometimes to figure it out- since there's no guidance or detail information on how to operate that machine.

here we come to the restaurant- or cafe - or whatever. They served from western and local food, too. I ordered rawon - which is quite satisfying with 'kerupuk' too. Yummy ... plus ice tea, sweet one as my favourite.
there's he is- my tour guide on that day. His name Albert, single and looking.
He's an IT guy and works on fashion line. So you girls, must be fun to shopping around with him. Whuahhahaa .. anyone interest?

Semarang, friends ...

quick trip, back to semarang- meet up old friends. Never thought many of my friends back to home town, after travel around. In the pict, back from Australia- back to run fabric business back way home- "Evelyn" Textile & Material Supplier ..
You got to be there, to find good quality & interesting materials, unisex- plus good looking owner, who wont feel comfortable staying there? .. psst, much cheaper than Alta Moda in same quality.
In the pict, (sure you all know) we just finish dinner .. see all those empty plates.. yeah, we're quite starving at that time- ahahhaha..

sharing memories back there & sharing how life now on, lots of stories told- so much fun! too bad, some of friends couldnt come. Well, maybe next time ya...

Weekend at Surabaya

Yup- he's big now .. used to be my little brother. Now, he's bigger than me- moreover, people start to say that he's older than me, cause he's big & taller- yeah, i'm still young ... lalelelalallalalaaala..



Next is one of the view inside Surabaya's Mall- hmm.. its inside SOGO, well .. not far away from sogo, i think- once come back to own country. Hehehehe... just washing my eyes- only.

Spiritual Moment, I Had ..

3 days of training, starting from 7 in the morning ‘til 6.30 in the evening.
Of course, I’m wondering what kind of training is it? What took them so long? What will they teach me? How much homework do I need to finish in the night? How many people will go for this training?.. And lots of other question running around inside my mind.
It’s called "ESQ (Emotional Spiritual Quotient).. Its not just only a training, it’s an experience!! Golden experience!!
They teach you to think out of box, including how to gain your spiritual side more- which most people forgot about it. Session to session, it gets more and more interesting.. Since it involved a lot into your living, you’re live, and every aspect in your life. They help you to share deepest thought of you, and to share your thoughts and express them and see your problems in good ways
Tears, laugh, cries and lots of emotional involved, but it did- it’s true- it help me to see the world in different, and better ways- and on the way it should be.
Basic of teaching is on Islamic religion- but it didn’t force us to move into them. Take the essence, and create something new into your life- Not about changing someone’s religion, really. Cause point of it is how to live together, side by side, in harmony without seeing any differences in between.
From scientific facts revolve into spiritual facts, which is amazing how does it works-
It’s hard for me to explain in words, and it’s hard for you to understand too, through this written. I can say that this is the best training; I had ‘til now. It is experience training- there’s no need to write at all.
There’s always controversy inside each of us- but the important matter is take the essence and apply it to your life, cause it’s worth living.

it was a cloudy day- and i decided to stroll along house, to kept myself awake & aware of what i've been missing for all these time.

first stop is small shop on G-Walk area (its a famous street which full of foods, snacks). Quite famous inside my compound houses, Citraland-

yummy cold "es dawet" , found out this is the best one around- so i make stop by and bought some to bring back home. Hmmm...

made from special flour, colored in green, then mixed with others ingredients- after that, pour with coconut milk- ready to taste!

while these one called "pukis" .. sort of snacks, with different taste- like chocolate, pandan, etc.
cool snacks segh- ... but watch out your gain, guys-

stores are getting wider & crowded, as i remember back into last year-
well, how amazing the world goes around, is it?



decided to out for dinner, try to get some brezee ...
so, this restaurant called "Lumbung" ... it should be meaning as small house which made by dried grass (i think so) ...
seating on a platform, with local made food- yummm ... back to nature always feels good!

Buffet Timeeee

Well, wasn't really my hometown, actually - ehehehe.. anyway, Indonesia lagh ..

so, that was during dinner at Le Bassac - buffet with huge food variety. Cost you 12 bucks for dinner, and half for lunch time.

Sooooo many food you can eat- bet you wont eat them all .. you'll get blotted & spear later on.

from chinese, to vietnam then khmer food- they got over there. Oh yeah, they got some western and japanese food, too...
yum, steak I ate was really good- medium rare ... not used to eat rare part, but it was fantastic .. dont forget to try the wrap duck- taste yummy! ice cream got too, but wont try- since lots of times eat ice cream ...

got some BBQ too, beef satay- sea food satay and much more things ..

vietnamese range temptating too though- for some people dont used to eat those ...
i ate too much of those, during my work trip- each months.,, so sorry- i will skip those for now..

Good Bye, Grandpa

you only realized when they're gone -

i miss you,grandpa- .. even though i realized i never spend so much time with you, lately ... people got so busy chasing their dream, money & popularity ... til then, i miss you..

i had the best grandpa in the world... not yet mentioned that he's a good lookin guy (lookin back his old times pict) .. no wonder my grandma go crazy for him- plus all his good reputation and skills, he had all this time.

he never give up his life- even 'til end of his time. I admire that!

there was this awkward and strange and sad times when i'm back home & found out that he's been sick, lying hopelessly there- such a difficult moment to be ... but i think, everything went as how He wanted to be ...

Now, you can rest there, grandpa- There's no need to worry for anything, enjoy your time.
