dinner at chinese resto- i used to go, seems like rewind- old ambience. Soft crab, fried kwetiu, cooked fish, hot plate beef ... hmm, yummy- plus hot tea as chinese style. Terrific dinner! .. plus accompaning of good friends & new friends, good conversation & jokes & snap here, snap there-

enjoying breezze from roof top of FCC, with a glass of red wine. Ups, i ordered hot fudge chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top- delicious! while chattering around-
tonight will meet new friend, too- good life...

Pechumben - Vietnam Trip

it's Pechumben's Day - so, both of us decided to have short escape to Saigon... 3nights ..for one, the only one reason- shoppinggggg!!!!

day begin with stuck on traffic jam, almost for 4 hours- cause all seems goin back to province.. exhausted & hungry dying ... almost over lunch time & got stuck-unable out to steal time for lunch- gosh, gotta flirt the bus guy to let us out for 5min! well.. that will be my friends to taking care off .. ahhahaaa, just joking, sambath..

getting there was almost 8pm- we lost the whole day 'cause that damn traffic- whatever.. heading to hotel, pack out all stuff, get some wash up & ready for night market! ... got all these bronze bracelet & hair clip- so cuteeeee.... we end up buying like 5 for each! hahahaha.... this things is so cool, i wont find it that cheap, on back way home- so bring back some for moms, & my up-coming sister in law too-

night still young, but we need to charge our battery for tomorrow hunting- got to be ready to fight on bargain! full power!!

food stall inside benh tanh market! full food stock that fill your stomach til the limit, there's lots of food range to try out- interesting & yummy. such this one- you can only find it in vietnam! it's yummy with meats inside, and little vegie. They served most their food with fish sauce, sugar, and chili mix together- wonderfull! .. been eating this for quite sometimes, but never get bored-

oh yeah, got this funny story while we're shopping & bargaining for the price. There's this lady, won't take us to bargain, and she shouted at us, also hushed us to go out the market- tell us that we should go outside looking for lower price. hahahhahah ... it was really un-expected, but also funny- hey, if u dont like our price then tell us your price .. we're just tryin to bargain here. Hahahahaa....

lunch, we stop by at Black Cat - one of experience must try at Vietnam (CNN's news) .. they got delicious burger & sandwich- look at the size of my burger! my friend tried this green curry, and it taste solid, man! own by vietnamese, but the taste really un-deniedable .. u gotta try-

night comes- stomach crawling for hunger.. we ran to Centro .. french food in proper manner. Guess what? we come with far dress code of formal.. well, what the heck- we're tourist! hahahhaa ....

this place is quite cool- they got these mirror with backlights, and so romantic- too bad, only 2 of us comin in.

after 10pm, we hang out at Caravelle Lounge .. called Saigon Saigon Bar - on roof top, accompanied with most coolest band in town- zip my melon cocktails & enjoy crowded. So much fun! .. it ended up to 12pm - time we got to go back, packing all stuff, back to phnom penh. -

Praying House

what's wrong with you? why u haven't update your blog? ..

well.. sorry, guys- i've been on holiday & more over, internet connection at office was down for the whole week- left me alone ...

there's few things i would like to put up- such as this one .. praying house!

yup- this is really famous - even david beckham bring some back way home - whuahahhaa...

wish i could bring it too .. but will cost me a fortune on the shipment-

as u seen, the colors are getting more & more .. from simply plain gold, now they got in dark red & black red .. even nowadays, i used to saw they paint in colors too-

this house used to be put outside the main house, to protect the land of the house (which people live in) .. while inside the house, there'll be another praying house

it's smaller, and people put it facing entrance door - sort of against bad evil enter the house .. and that one is to protect the house- so, kinda like there's a spirit to take care the house-

while outside, there's another spirit as a guard ...

not to forget that there'll be lotus flower on the front, side by side with burn incense stick - hmmm... lovely view
